A DESCRIPTION ON
MR. AKAN EKONG, BY MKPOSONG STEPHEN ASUQUO.
When
asked to describe someone you really know very well, one is almost left to be afraid, not because he doesn’t know what
to do, but because of the too many and repeated hyperbole, which is known to be an overstatement. Mine is not so far different
from this. Given the humble opportunity to describe Akparawa Akan Ekong,I will simply say he is God sent, and that will send
our sweating bodies to cold, and will help reduce the nervous tension.
It
will however be inconsequential if I fail to inform whoever concerned that Akan Ekong was born into the great family of Elder
Udo Ekong of Ukana Uwa East in Essien Udim L.G.A Of Akwa Abasi Ibom State.
Little
Akan enrolled for his primary studies and graduated with distinction. He was meritably received at Independence High School
Ukana, Essien Udim L.G.A, where he graduated with a good grade that kicked him to the University of Calabar, Cross River State
Nigeria, where he studied Accounting.
Ayen
eka ayid will tell us details of his career with smiles all over his face, which makes one to wonder what really is the secret.
Little did we know that he remembers his humble beginnings, and then says a thank you to our father in Heaven, who have found
it worthy to bring him this far. Presently, Ete Akan is working with Bakerhughes Oil Servicing Company, a renowned oil servicing
company in Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt.
Without
much beatings around this God given figure, I will describe him as a true son of Ukana , An Annang driven- spirited person,
a man who believes in the adage that says “ Every good turn deserves another” as much as he is concerned, I am
a beneficiary of this practical belief.
Ekong Akan, was able
to get prepared for this augustic and monumental successes recorded by him, when he used to quickly move on for dad’s
and mum’s errands without an iota of disagreement.
In
few days from now, he will be taking his heart robe to the altar : waoh ? Let us in our usual brotherly
and sisterly concern give Mr Akan Ekong the image and sucessful Marriage Ceremony he deserves. Your word of courage,
encouragement and support as you sign our guess book with a kudo to Mr Akan and his yet to be Annang
